The registration deadline for the annual Youth Flag Football League is Wednesday, August 14th. Boys and girls, ages six through 16 years, are eligible to play in the league, presented by Florence Community Services. The registration fee is only $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Register at the Florence Community Center, 778 N. Main Street or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks. Age divisions are 6 to 8-year olds, 9 to 12 and 13 year olds to 16 years of age. Games are on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning in September. Volunteer coaches are also needed to make this league possible.
