If you like Zumba exercise routines, consider trying a similar version of aerobic workout.   The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is now offering a Latin Heat Fitness Class.  Join us for an exciting hour of calorie-burning, body energizing, awe-inspiring movements designed to tone and sculpt the entire body.

Zumba, which was founded when a celebrity trainer forgot his standard aerobics music for class one day and instead substituted music he always listened to, is   exotic but easy-to-follow dance moves to the Salsa, Cha-Cha, Mambo and Merengue. The result of this fusion is a fun, energetic workout that feels more like a night out dancing than an actual workout.

The classes are held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on select Thursday evenings, which include September 5, 12, and 19; and October 10, 17 and 24.  All classes are held at the Florence K-8 Band Room.

The class fee of $25.00 must be paid by Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Florence Fitness Center, located at 133 N. Main Street.  All participants must be 16 years and older and must pre-register.
