The Florence Unified School District has approved a contract with APS to construct covered parking structures at the Florence High School that include solar panels, which will reduce the cost of providing electrical power to the high school.   While this construction is ongoing, the main parking lot at the high school will be closed.

Many people using the Florence Community Library and the Florence Community Pool, when it opens for the summer, use the main parking lot.  While construction is ongoing, alternate parking is available.  The hours of the library and the pool will remain unchanged.   The anticipated completion date for the construction is July 23, 2013.

If you have additional questions about this project, please contact Mark Lamas at the Florence Unified School District at (520) 868-8801.
