Come to the Florence Community Library for an interactive discussion about listening to opinions and learning from experiences different from our own.

Friday, September 6 at 5:30 pm, the University of Arizona’s Matt Kundert will lead the AZ Humanities FRANK Talk, Can We Get Along? Talking to Each Other About Controversies Now. How can we balance our opinions against respect for the people around us? How do we keep the conversation going about difficult subjects and events? How does technology, cultural changes, and 24/7 media shape our sense of what is true and false, and of what connects and divides us? Join us for a FRANK Talk exploring what brings us together and what separates us.

This FRANK Talk is made possible by Arizona Humanities, in partnership with the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records. FRANK Talks encourage participants to weigh facts and consider different points of view. Learn more about FRANK Talks at www.azhumanities.org.
