The Florence Community Library invites children of all ages and their caregivers to enjoy Spring Intersession programs! From March 19 – March 30, come to the library and community center for a variety of free, family-friendly activities during the two-week school break.

 

Programs will include:

 

Monday, March 19 & 26, 2:00 pm: Bricks ‘n’ Blocks

Mondays at 2:00 pm, the library will set out a variety of building bricks and blocks for free play by all ages.  Children and their caregivers are invited to play, build, and create!

 

Wednesday, March 21 & 28, 10:00 am: Family Storytime

Wednesdays at 10:00 am, children and their caregivers are invited to Family Storytime.  Enjoy stories, songs, and finger plays with Ms. Gloria and guest readers!

 

Thursday, March 22 & 29, 2:00 pm: Crafts

Thursdays at 2:00 pm, create some simple but fun Spring-themed crafts!  Thursday, March 22, participants will use a paper plate and cardstock to create their own rainbow fish.  The following week, on March 29, use pipe cleaners and clothespins to make a dragonfly.  All materials to complete the crafts will be provided at no charge.

 

Friday, March 23 & 30, 2:00 pm: Family Flicks

Fridays at 2:00 pm, you are invited to end each week with a movie.  Enjoy a free showing of a recent family-friendly animated film.  The movies are open to all ages, and you are welcome to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!
