All library patrons are invited to enjoy A Universe of Stories with the Florence Community Library’s 2019 Summer Reading Program! The program begins Tuesday, May 28 and runs through July 6.

 

Patrons of all ages will have the opportunity to read for fun and prizes.  The library will also host daily activities, including storytimes, crafts, STEAM programming, guest programs, and more!

 

Activities begin Tuesday, May 28, and include:

 

  • Mondays, 2:00 pm: Block Challenge
  • Tuesdays, 10:30 am: Family Storytime
  • Tuesdays, 2:00 pm: Teen Time
  • Wednesdays, 2:00 pm: Full STEAM Ahead
  • Thursdays, 2:00 pm: Crafty Universe
  • Thursdays, 3:45 pm: Code Club, featuring Girls Who Code
  • Fridays, 2:00 pm: Family Flick

 

In addition, all ages are invited to the Summer Reading Kickoff on Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 am, as the Fantastic Fire Department allows children to interact with their working fire truck while serving as junior firefighters!
