The Town of Florence Dorothy Nolan Senior Center is hosting a Mariachi Festival on Friday, March 6 at 5:00pm at the Dorothy Nolan Senior Center.  There is traditional Mariachi music, folkloric dancers, salsa contest, and a full Mexican dinner.  

Those who want to attend this first ever Mariachi Festival event must register by Friday, February 27th.  The cost is $12.00 and registrations are accepted at the Dorothy Nolan Senior Center, located at 330 North Pinal Avenue.  The event is for seniors 55 years of age or older, but guests of seniors attending the event under 55 years of age are also welcome. 

In addition to the entertainment provided and the full Mexican dinner, which includes enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans, chips and salsa, there is a salsa contest.  Bring your homemade salsa and enter the contest.  There are prizes for the best hot salsa and the best mild salsa.   The winners receive a gift basket.
