Enjoy a brief discussion and a free movie at the Florence Community Library!

The library will hold its May movie discussion on Saturday, May 18 at 1:00 pm.  This month, we will focus on films featuring animals – from stories about household pets to stories set in the wild.  We’ll look at some notable examples of animal-centered films, and will also discuss the evolving safeguards put in place to protect movie animals from harm.

The presentation will be followed by a FREE showing of a popular recent movie, with subtitles enabled for the hearing impaired.  Popcorn and water will be available free while supplies last.  Feel free to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!

For title information, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.
