Mud Volleyball, Skateboarding and Horseshoes Tournaments at the 4th of July Celebration

15th Annual Freedom Fest Mud Volleyball Tournament 

The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 15th annual Co-ed Mud Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, July 4, 2013. This double elimination tournament is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm at Heritage Park during our annual Freedom Fest. 

There is a fee of $50 per team, which must be paid by Friday, June 28.  Awards are given to 1st and 2nd place teams. There is a maximum of 14 teams in the tournament, so sign-up ASAP.  

 

Freedom Fest Skateboard Competition 

The Town of Florence is hosting its annual Freedom Fest Skateboard Competition on Thursday, July 4 at 7:00pm at the Heritage Park Skate Park. Age divisions include 6-8, 9-12, 13-17, and 18 and up. 

First place awards are given to the winners of each age division. There is no fee to enter the competition, but participants must register by Friday, June 28. 

 

Freedom Fest Horseshoe Tournament 

As part of the Town of Florence’s Freedom Fest Fourth of July Celebration, the Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual Horseshoe Tournament on Thursday, July 4, 2013.  This double elimination tournament begins at 4:00pm at Heritage Park.   

There is a fee of $20.00 per team (two participants per team), which must be paid by Friday, June 28.  Awards are provided to first and second place teams.  Register early, as there is a maximum of 20 teams allowed in the tournament.
