New Trash and Recycling Containers Delivered the Week of June 24th

In preparation for the new trash and recycling services available to Florence residents effective Monday, July 1^st, Right Away Disposal (RAD) is delivering new trash and recycling containers to homeowners in Florence starting on Monday, June 24^th.   The delivery of the containers to all the customers is expected to take up to five days. 

Then, beginning on Thursday, June 27^th, the Town of Florence will begin picking up the existing trash containers.  Please leave out your Town of Florence container after its’ scheduled pick-up, as Town employees will pick up the containers on Thursday, June 27^th or Friday, June 28^th. The containers will be washed and either sold to another municipality to assist them in their sanitation operations or sold for scrap depending upon condition.

For residents who are out of town and have placed their sanitation account on hold with the Town, new containers are delivered and old containers are picked-up when the residents return to Florence and notify the Town that they want to resume services.
