The Florence Community Library will be bringing juvenile/young adult author Dan Trumpis to Florence on the morning of Friday, April 24 at 9:45 am.  Trumpis will be speaking at the Florence Unified School District Meeting Room across the courtyard from the library, presenting to a combination of high school students and general public.

Trumpis is the author of “Welcome to Harmony,” which was named the Teen Category Winner for ONEBOOKAZ’s 2015 writing contest.  This book centers on Dillon Howell, a 12 year old boy trying to fit in after moving to a new town.  A typical enough teen problem, but complicated by his condition – Dillon is a werewolf!  Author Dan Trumpis will talk about his stories and his path to becoming a writer.  He will also bring copies of his book to sell and to sign, in cooperation with the Friends of the Florence Community Library.

This program is made possible by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State.  Seating is limited, so advance registration is recommended.  For more information, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.
