The Arizona Department of Transportation will be working at the intersection of State Route 79-79B and Butte Avenue and in Florence beginning Thursday night, July 11, through Saturday morning, July 13 for milling and paving. The work will occur as follows:
From 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 12
- Northbound SR 79-79B will be narrowed to one lane at Butte Avenue (mileposts 134 to 133.5).
- Crews will direct traffic around the project area, onto the center lane on northbound SR 79, and onto the right lane on northbound SR 79B.
- Minimal delays of up to five minute are expected.
From 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, to 8 a.m. Saturday, July 13
- Southbound SR 79-79B will be narrowed to one lane at Butte Avenue (mileposts 133.5 to 134).
- Crews will direct traffic around the project area, onto the center lane on southbound SR 79, and onto the left lane on northbound SR 79B.
- Minimal delays of up to five minute are expected.
