P.O.W.W.O.W. (Farmers Market) Coming to Florence

A farmers market is coming to Florence. The Community Services Department has partnered with Borderlands Produce Rescue to present a series of farmers markets beginning Saturday, November 23^rd from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This distribution program is called Produce on Wheels With – Out Waste or POWWOW.   Customers to POWWOW will be able to purchase up to 70 pounds of produce for only $12.00 (cash only transactions). Each POWWOW will be held in the Aquatic Center/Community Center Parking Lot at 778 N. Main Street. POWWOWs will be held the fourth Saturday of each month through May of 2020 with one exception: `December’s event is on the third Saturday, the 21^st at the same time and location.
