Everyone is invited to downtown Florence on Thursday, October 23 at 6:00 p.m. for the dedication and opening of the Town’s newest park, Padilla Park. Padilla Park is located at 77 W. Ruggles Street (behind the Silver King Marketplace) and features picnic tables, splash pad (open seasonally from April to September), turf, restrooms and a performance pad for movies and concerts.
Refreshments are served at the dedication including bottled water provided by APS and snacks and cookies provided by Haydon Building Corporation.
After the dedication, the Florence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a free concert beginning at 7:00 p.m. featuring the music of Tequila Highway. The concert (and future concerts) is sponsored by the Main Street Family Practice.
