Children are invited to participate in the annual Junior Parada Parade on Saturday, November 30th. The Arts and Culture Commission is offering kids the opportunity to create your own cardboard pony or bull to display in the parade. The program is called Pimp Your Pony to participate in the Buff Up Your Bull Parade Group. Arts and Culture Commission members will help with creation and construction of the individual entries from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the following Wednesdays: November 13th, 20th and 27th at the Library and Community Center. When the critters are completed, little cowboys and cowgirls can “ride” their creations in the Junior Parada Parade which starts at 10:00 a.m. along Historic Main Street. For more information, call Community Services at (520) 868-7589.
