The Town of Florence is proud to announce the official opening of a new fire station in Anthem, located at 2035 N. Hunt Highway. The public is invited to attend the Grand Opening Ceremony on March 5th at 5:30 pm where food and drink are served, and fire personnel are on hand to provide tours of the new facility and fire truck.
Fire Station No. 2 is a 10,920 square foot facility located on 9.7 acres and it will house operations for both fire and police services. The fire station includes three equipment apparatus bays, fitness room, seven dorms, kitchen area, office space for fire command personnel and police personnel, and an interview room for police. Perlman Architects of Arizona designed the facility and Core Construction constructed the facility.
The new fire station replaces the temporary fire station in Anthem. The Town of Florence Fire Department began answering calls for service from the new fire facility on February 21st.
