Florence Community Services Department is accepting registration for its winter Adult Pickleball League which begins in January. Pickleball can be described as playing tennis on a badminton-sized court. The senior co-ed division will play games on Wednesday mornings while the adult co-ed division plays Wednesday evenings. Games will be played on the pickleball courts, just west of the Florence Aquatic Center.
The team fee (maximum of three players) resident fee is only $60 while non-residents pay $70. Deadline to register is Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Register online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks or at the Community Center, 778 N. Main Street.
