The Arts and Culture Commission’s next Drum Circle is Saturday, January 27, 2018. Presented by Florence Community Services, the event is held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Jacob Suter House, 270 N. Pinal Street.
A Drum Circle is a group of people, sitting in a circle and playing (usually) hand-drums and percussion. They differ from a drumming group or troupe in that the Drum Circle is an end rather than preparation for a performance.
Hand drummers and other musicians are invited to bring their own hand drum and percussion instruments to join the fun.
The Drum Circle is the product of a joint program between the Town of Florence Arts and Culture Commission and the Florence Industrial Development Authority, Inc.
