Staff and volunteers at the Dorothy Nolan Senior Center invite seniors to attend two upcoming events: the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Safe Driving Class and the annual St. Patty’s Day Party.

The 55 Alive Driving Course is on Tuesday, March 13th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the center. It is designed to refresh driver awareness and improve comfort levels on the highway. Completion of the course not only makes our roads safer with more careful drivers but graduates of the course may qualify for insurance discounts. The cost is only $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. The class lasts four hours.

The St. Patty’s Day Party includes a delicious, traditional Irish meal on Friday, March 16th at 11:30 a.m. The fee is only $8 and includes the meal and Irish music. Registration is required and must be done by Friday, March 9th.

The center is located at 330 N. Pinal Street in Florence. For more information, call (520) 868-7622.
