Florence Community Services Department has planned a unique and challenging event for elementary students through adults. The first Splash-N-Dash Junior Biathlon will be held on Saturday, May 12th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Florence Aquatic Center.

Splash and Dash is a swim and fun run. Third through fifth grade students will compete in a 50-meter swim and a half-mile run. The sixth to eighth grade students compete in the 100-meter swim and one-mile run. High school students from freshman to seniors, compete in a 100-meter swim and 1.5 mile run. Adults will swim 125 meters and run 1.5 miles. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal.

Residents pay only a $30 fee while the non-resident fee is $40 due by Friday, April 27th.
