The Florence Community Library is digging up lots of exciting and interesting activities, as we continue our summer journey and “Dig into Reading”.

Be sure to check out our activities for the week of June 17:

Monday:  Trivia Handout Sheets are available at the front desk. Prizes are given for each correct sheet turned in.

Tuesday: Teens (13 yrs. and older) can come in to the library at 2:00 pm to master the Wii; XBOX360 and Guitar Hero.

Wednesday: Family Storytime at 10:00 am. Families are invited to join Ms. Rita for a fun story, music, dance and much more.

Thursday: Crafts for children at 2:00 pm. Registration is required.

Friday: Family Flicks at 1:00 pm, includes popcorn and drink. Movie titles are posted inside the library. Due to licensing restrictions we cannot publish titles, but call or stop by and we can share.

Daily: Gnomes have gone wild in the library. Find one and you could be a lucky winner!

Adults can have fun with summer reading, too! You can receive an entry for weekly prize drawings for each book you read. Win additional prizes by writing book reviews to be posted inside the library!
