The Town’s first Veteran’s Memorial location will be the plaza just outside the Florence Library and Community Center.  The idea for a memorial was conceived by local veterans with the support of Councilmember John Anderson.  Cost of the project is estimated at $65,000 to $75,000.  The Town will match donations up to $40,000 leaving the balance to private donations. Plans are to have the memorial dedicated on Memorial Day 2019.  Those who wish to donate may access and complete the form found on the  Town web site (www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation).  The form is also available at the community center.
