Veteran’s Memorial Project Groundbreaking Ceremony

The community’s first Veteran’s Memorial Project has experienced construction delays.  As a result, the dedication planned for Memorial Day on Monday, May 27^th is now a groundbreaking for the project. A short ceremony with guest speakers and elected officials will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the plaza just south of the Library and Community Center. The actual dedication will be announced later by the Florence Community Services Department. Donations are still accepted through the American Legion Post #9 in Florence. The donation form is on the Town web site (www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation). This form is also available at the community center.
