Volunteers are needed for this year’s 30th Annual Florence Historic Home Tour, scheduled for Saturday, February 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year’s event has more homes and other historic structures on the tour than in past years.
Volunteers serve as ambassadors for the community, as well as sources of information for each of the structures on the tour. Most visitors to the Home Tour are from other communities (and states), so volunteers have the unique opportunity to represent Florence and make new acquaintances.
Training and orientation is held on Thursday, February 12 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Dorothy Nolan Senior Center, located at 330 N. Pinal Street. .
