This Wednesday and Thursday are the public’s opportunity to offer input on a parks and recreation master plan. The Town is developing a Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan and has hired GreenPlay, LLC, a nationally-known parks and recreation management consulting firm to oversee its development. The plan will prioritize the needs and desires for upgrading and improving parks, recreational facilities, amenities, programs and services. Wednesday’s forum, on January 30th is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Anthem Parkside Community Center at 3200 N. Anthem Way. The second forum is on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Library and Community Center at 778 N. Main Street. Residents, business owners, special interest groups and any other interested parties are urged to attend either public forum.
