The second annual “World’s Largest Swimming Lesson” is on Thursday, June 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Florence Aquatic Center. The event is a national movement to raise awareness of teaching children how to swim to prevent drownings. During our regular Open Swim hours, water safety instructors will demonstrate and discuss water-safety and hold a 45-minute swim lesson. Participants will be entered into a drawing for a free two-hour room rental at the aquatic center.
