“The YA Explosion” is the focus of the Florence Community Library’s monthly movie discussion on Saturday, December 13 at 1:00 pm.

There has been a boom in movies based on Young Adult literature, with every teen book series now a potential movie franchise.  Some of these movies have been extremely popular across all age groups, while others have failed to find any audience at all.  Join us in the library programming room for a look at this film trend, which include film clips, book excerpts, and patron discussion – followed by a showing of one of this genre’s most popular recent films.

Popcorn is provided free of charge.  Patrons are encouraged to bring their own food and soft drink to the show.  There are opportunities to win prizes by completing and returning movie reviews and other activities!

For title information or other questions, please contact the Florence Community Library at (520) 868-8311.
