Ditch the workout and join the party! The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is now offering Zumba Fitness.  Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an exciting dance party atmosphere full of Latin and international music.

You’ll forget you’re working out with the exotic, but easy to follow dance moves.  You work out to music such as salsa, cha-cha, raggeton, mambo and merengue. The result of this fusion is a fun, energetic workout that feels more like a night out dancing than a workout in your health club.

The classes are held on Tuesday evenings in October from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Florence High School Dance Room, located at 1000 S. Main Street.  The classes are open to anyone 16 years of age and older.

The fee is $20 per session and the registration deadline is Saturday, October 4th.   You must pre-register for this class at the Florence Fitness Center, located at 133 N. Main Street, or online.
