Ditch the workout and join the party!  The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Zumba Fitness classes, starting again in January.  Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an exciting dance party atmosphere full of Latin and international music.

You’ll forget you’re working out with the exotic, but easy-to-follow dance moves to music such as salsa, cha-cha, raggeton, mambo and merengue. The result of this fusion is a fun, energetic workout that feels more like a night out dancing than a workout in your health club.

The fee is $20 per session.  Classes run from January 6 to January 27.  Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Florence High School Dance Room, located at 1000 S. Main Street.  Registration is open to participants who are 16 years of age or older. You must pre-register for this class. The registration deadline is Saturday, January 3.

Register at the Town of Florence Fitness Center at 133 N. Main Street or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks.
