There is still time to purchase advance tickets to the 31st Annual Florence Historic Home Tour on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Online purchases may be made at www.florenceaz.gov/hometour.

Tickets are only $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Pinal County Historical Society, Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and the Florence Library and Community Center. Day of tickets may be purchased at Jaques Square, 8th Street and Main in downtown Florence.

The theme for the 31st annual Home Tour, “History Remembered; The Future Embraced; Celebrating 150 Years,” reflects Florence’s 150th anniversary. All visitors are welcome on February 13th to celebrate Florence’s rich territorial history.

Florence was also recently named a “Top Ten True Western Town” in the United States by True West magazine. The town also received a 2015 Governor’s Heritage Preservation Award for 31 years of Home Tour excellence.

In addition to the tour of historic homes and buildings, the Pinal County Historical Society and Museum will have a special exhibit featuring 150 Years of Fashion in Florence. A variety of clothing demonstrating changes in fashion that reflect the changes in the town’s history will be on display. The Florence Arts and Culture Commission is hosting its Inaugural Quick Draw Art Event from noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Jacob Suter House, 270 N. Pinal Street. The Florence Women’s Club, also in conjunction with the Home Tour, is hosting an Art Show featuring a variety of artistic displays from local artists.
