The Florence Aquatic Center will be open on Tuesday, July 4th from noon to 5:00 p.m. for open swim. The open swim precedes other “Freedom Fest” activities at Heritage Park which begin at 3:00 p.m.
While there will be no admission fee on July 4th, visitors to the aquatic center are asked to bring gently used backpacks or other school supplies which will be donated to the Florence Unified School District for students in need.
The center is located at 174 W. First Street and offers two water slides, two diving boards, a family play pool and competition pool. Visitors can also enjoy the shaded areas and convenient family dressing rooms.
