The second session of swim lessons begins Tuesday, June 20th through Thursday, June 29th at the Florence Aquatic Center. Deadline to register for the second session is Friday, June 16th.

Swim lessons are offered in three, two-week blocks for only $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents.

Sunday, June 18th is Father’s Day Splash at the center. All dads get free admission with one paid child admission.

The first of three Family Night Swims is on Friday, June 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is only $1 for children and $3 for adults. Families are invited to swim under the lights and enjoy a variety of activities.

The center, located at 174 W. First Street, offers open swim every Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. Daily use fees are $1 for youth (ages 17 years and under) and only $3 for adults. Ages six months and under are admitted free. Pool swim passes are available at a substantial savings. The center offers two water slides, two diving boards, a family play pool and competition pool. Visitors can also enjoy the shaded areas and convenient family dressing rooms.
