Arbor Day – Tree Planting Ceremony

Florence Parks and Recreation Department cordially invites members of the community to attend its Tree Planting Ceremony on Thursday, April 28th at 4:00 p.m.

The ceremony, held at Heritage Park is to recognize Arbor Day and celebrate the department’s 10th year as a Tree City USA as certified by the National Arbor Day Foundation and National Association of State Foresters.

Those scheduled to participate in the ceremony include Mayor Tom Rankin, children from the department’s recreation program, Before and After the Bell and parks maintenance staff.
