Now that the fall intersession is over, the popular recreation program, Before and After the Bell has resumed. Presented by Florence Community Services Department, the program is held Mondays through Fridays at Florence K-8 and Anthem K-8 schools.

Children in kindergarten through the sixth grade may attend and participate in exercise time, homework assistance, games, crafts and more both before and after school. Before the Bell is held from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and After the Bell is held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Hours and days of operation follow the Florence Unified School District calendar (excluding holidays and intersessions).

The monthly fee, which must be paid prior to attending, is only $45 per child for residents and $56 for non-residents.

The registration fee may be paid at the Florence Library & Community Center at 778 N. Main Street, Florence Fitness Center at 133 N. Main or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks.
