Public Notice
The Town of Florence Council seeks qualified applicants to serve on the following Boards/Commissions:
Board of Appeals – 1 position
Charles Whitlow Rodeo Grounds Advisory Board – 3 positions
Community Services Advisory Board – 4 positions
Historic District Advisory Commission – 5 position
Planning and Zoning Commission – 3 positions
**Teen Council – 1 open position(citizen liaison)
Applicants must be a qualified elector and at least eighteen years of age. Applications may be picked up at Town Hall, 775 N. Main Street or filled out below. If you would like more information, please call (520) 868-7500. First review of applications will be October 14, 2025. All positions will stay open until filled.
**Teen Council
- Duties: Assist the members of Teen Council in establishing connections and working relationships with the businesses, organizations, and volunteers within the community.
- Membership: One citizen liaison will be appointed for a term of three years following a recommendation from the Teen Council and appointment by the Town Council.
- Meetings: Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm, at Florence Town Hall, 775 North Main Street
