The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual Christmas on Main and Holiday Light Parade on Friday, December 7, 2012. Festivities begin at 6:00pm in downtown, Historic Florence on the corner of 8th and Main Streets.

This event features games, crafts, jumping inflatables, music, and a variety of vendors. Pictures with Santa are on the corner of 8th and Bailey at the Florence Chamber of Commerce building. Santa photos are from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Photos are only $1.00 each, but you can also use your own camera.

The night concludes with the Holiday Light Parade beginning at 8:00pm and heading south down Main Street from Heritage Park to the Pinal County Historic Courthouse. There is no admission charge!

We are also still accepting parade entries for the Holiday Light Parade. There is no entry fee!

Also join the fun by decorating a gingerbread house for our annual Gingerbread House Contest, which is open to the public. This contest is held during our Christmas on Main festivities. On-site registration is from 5:00pm to 6:45pm. Judging is announced at 7:30pm. Awards are given for 1st place winners in the following categories: Best 12 and Under, Best Edible, and Best Non-Edible.
