The Town of Florence and Right Away Disposal is hosting its annual Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, March 26th. This is a great opportunity to clean-up your property and dispose of garbage, recyclables, old appliances, tires, landscape material, electronics, paint, sealers, oil, and household cleaners.

The FREE drop-off site is provided by Right Away Disposal and is located north of the Florence Library and Community Center, located at 778 North Main Street. Items are accepted from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday only.

To drop off unwanted items, you must live within the boundaries of Florence and have an active trash account with the Town of Florence. Please bring a drivers license, utility bill or other documentation to verify your home address is in Florence.

The following items are NOT accepted at the drop off site:

Bio-Hazardous Waste (Medical Waste, Needles)
PCB Containing Materials
Gases
Explosives
Business or Industrial Waste
If you have any questions about the Community Clean-Up Day, contact Carol Schaubschlager at the Town of Florence at 868-7677.
