Community Pool at Florence High School Opens May 30th

Higher daytime temperatures signal the beginning of summer and what better way to cool off, than swimming?

The Florence Parks and Recreation Department is opening the Florence High School Community Pool starting on Saturday, May 30th. Open swim is offered from noon until 4:00 p.m. every Tuesday through Sunday. The community pool is located at 1000 S. Main Street in Florence.

Residents have the use of the Community Pool at the Florence High School until the new Florence Aquatic Center opens, which is tentatively scheduled for July.

The fee for using the pool is only .50 for children (17 and under) and $1 for adults.
