Do you need to get your CPR certification card or to renew an expired card? How about brushing up on your first aid training? Are you in the healthcare profession and need your Healthcare Provider CPR certification? The Florence Parks and Recreation Department is offering CPR courses for you. The courses are taught by Mark LaClair, a certified CPR training instructor who is skilled in CPR techniques and first aid training.
Community CPR classes are held on Tuesday, January 19 and February 23 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The cost is $40 per person. Healthcare Provider CPR is on Thursday, January 21 and February 18 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The cost is $50 per person. Community CPR and First Aid classes are on Saturday, January 31 and February 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is $60 per person.
All courses are held at the Florence Library and Community Center, located at 778 N. Main Street. Registration and fees must be completed and paid prior to each class.
