Florence Arts and Culture Commission invites kids to be involved in the annual Junior Parada Parade on Saturday, November 25th in downtown Florence. The commission is presenting a Decorate a Box Pony or Box Bull event.

Kids can work with their family to create a cardboard pony or bull and then “ride” with other fellow cowboys and cowgirls in the Parada Parade.

When your critter is completed, parents complete the registration form (available at the Community Center) and return it by Friday, November 17th.

All the kids who have registered and built their own parade critters, will meet at Heritage Park by 9:30 a.m. on the 25th to march in the parade.

Those who need help building their critters, are invited to the Community Center, 778 N. Main Street on Wednesday, November 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Arts and Culture Commissioners will be available to offer suggestions on creating a parade critter.
