The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is offering evening Swim Lessons at the new Florence Aquatic Center, located at 174 W. 1st Street. Swim Lessons are held Tuesday through Thursday, August 4 through August 13, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Pre-School Aquatics (3-5 years), Level I, and Level II classes are held at 6:00pm and Parent/Child lessons (6 months to 5 years), Level III, and Level IV are held at 7:00pm. Semi-private lessons include three classes by appointment and are available for $55 per resident and $68.75 per non-resident.
Levels 1 through 4 are for swimmers 6 years and up. Each level is based on the participant’s swimming skills. If you are unsure in what level your child should be enrolled, feel free to have our aquatic staff test your child’s swimming abilities during our open swim hours.
