The Florence Community Library would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the librarians, teachers, and students who participated in this year’s 19th Annual Bookmark Design Contest. The winners and their families were honored at the Bookmark Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 8, at 6 pm.
The 1st Place Winner was Bella Sergio, 6th Grade, from Circle Cross Ranch K-8 Stem Academy.
The 2nd Place Winner was Kailey Gragg, 7th Grade, from Walker Butte K-8 Leadership School.
The 3rd Place Winner was Deja Miller, 7th Grade, from Walker Butte K-8 Leadership School.
Honorable Mentions were: Ryan Valencia, Florence K-8; Kiptyn Reisenichler, Florence K-8; Sophia Hamilakis, Skyline Ranch K-8; Rileigh Keaton, Walker Butte K-8 Leadership School ; Kylah Wood, Anthem K-8; Jenna Daily, Circle Cross Ranch K-8 Stem Academy; Katelyn Westover, Magma Ranch K-8; Morgan Burch, Anthem K-8; and Arielle Smith, Circle Cross Ranch K-8 Stem Academy.
All 1,287 entries will be displayed at the library through the month of April. The winning bookmark is available at the main desk of the Florence Community Library free of charge while supplies last.
