The Town of Florence is celebrating the grand opening of the new Florence Community Library and Community Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and many activities on Saturday, October 3. The doors open at 10:00 a.m. and the ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m.

Food and refreshments are provided, including a “Taste of Florence” event that includes food from many of our local restaurants. The day is filled with activities, including a performance by James Reid Juggler Extraordinaire at 1:00 p.m. James Reid promises a performance of big tricks, laughs, and fun for all ages.

Town staff is onsite to answer questions and provide tours of the facility. All activities are free to the public. The center is located at 778 N. Main Street.

The Town is excited to share the new facility with the community and encourages everyone can attend this unforgettable event.
