The Town of Florence is hosting its annual Freedom Fest Skateboard competition on Wednesday, July 4 at 7:00pm at the Skate Park at Heritage Park. Participants in each age group are judged on their 90 second freestyle skate routine. Awards are handed out to 1st place of each age division.
There are age divisions for boys and girls that include (6-8), (9-12), (13-17), and (18 and up). There is no fee to enter the competition, but you must register by Friday, June 29 at the Florence Parks and Recreation Department and Fitness Center, located at 133 North Main Street.
