Come on out to enjoy the 4th Annual Florence 4th of July Freedom Parade held at Anthem at Merrill Ranch!
Parade entries are FREE and there are 6 categories this year, with awards to the winner in each category! Parade registrations are accepted online at www.amrevents.com and the public is encouraged to participate. Parade entry categories include Clubs/Businesses, Pets, Motorcycles, Classic Rides, Kid Bikes/Wagons, Golf Carts.
The parade theme this year is The Arizona Centennial (The 5 C’s: Copper, Cattle, Climate, Citrus, Cotton). The parade line up begins at 7 am with the judging taking place at 7:30 am. Parade will begin at 8 am from the Parkside Sales Office and will end at the Anthem Community Park for a short awards ceremony and performance by the San Tan Chorale. Bring a chair and wear your patriotic colors and come to your hometown parade! The parade is open to Florence and the surrounding community residents, students, friends, pets and families!
The public is also invited to enjoy the Big Splash Waterpark (wristband required) at the Anthem Parkside Community Center from 10 am – 4 pm on Wednesday, July 4 only! Those interested in getting a free Waterpark wristband must arrive at the Anthem Parkside Sales Office between 7 – 9 am on Wednesday, July 4 to complete a guest waiver and get their wristbands. Wristbands may not be picked up earlier than 7 am and will not be available after 9 am.
