The third in a series of four historical lectures is next Tuesday, November 1 at the Florence Library and Community Center. Arizona’s “Hip Historian,” Marshall Shore will reveal tales and unknown facts about settlements long past.

Arizona Ghost Towns, which begins at 6:00 p.m. at no charge, is an intriguing 90 minutes of obscure details about bygone communities such as Jerome, Crown King and Two Guns. Shore will reveal the details and facts which led once thriving communities to near desertion.

This historical presentation is offered by Florence Parks and Recreation in partnership with the AZ Humanities and AZ Speaks.
