Practically everyone likes a good mystery. We enjoy the baffling details while experiencing a safe thrill. And, we take pleasure in the challenge of solving a puzzle. These all contribute to why the popularity of mystery books consistently ranks in the top five of annual book sales.

If you are intrigued by the unsolved mystery, the Florence Parks and Recreation’s next Historical Lecture series topic is for you. The department, in partnership with the AZ Humanities and AZ Speaks, presents Arizona’s Unsolved Mysteries on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the Library and Community Center at 778 N. Main Street.

Speaker Jane Eppinga is an author, teacher and guest lecturer with emphasis on Arizona and Southwest History. One of her latest books is titled, Arizona Unsolved. Come join your fellow “mystery” connoisseurs for this fascinating and free lecture.
