The first of five intriguing historical lectures is on Wednesday, November 8th at the Library and Community Center. The recreation division of Florence Community Services Department, in partnership with Az Humanities will present Wild, Weird, and Wicked Arizona from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The lecture, which is part of the Arizona Speaks program, is a fascinating story about Arizona’s history and struggle for statehood. Presenter Jana Bommersbach is a well-known journalist and current contributor to True West magazine.
