The first in a series of winter historical presentations is Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Florence Library and Community Center.
Star Gazing over the Years: Celebrities in Pinal County begins at 6:00 p.m. and is an intriguing discussion of movie stars, celebrities and well-known gangsters who frequented Florence and surrounding Pinal County.
The presenter for this captivating story is Christine Reid, writer and researcher for the Pinal County Historical Society. Reid will reveal why certain well-known people were in the area. She also will share some of the little known tales of the famous and infamous who visited Pinal County.
