The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is offering an informal presentation about the art of wildlife photography on Wednesday, April 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This presentation, to be held at the Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main Street, will serve as an introduction to a series of photography classes offered in May.

Instructor Lisa Langell is an award-winning wildlife photographer with an international following. Her works have appeared in Phoenix Home and Garden magazine and Arizona Wildlife Views. Her photography has been recognized and awarded from the National Wildlife Federation, Arizona Highways and Arizona State Parks. Her images evoke both a visual and emotional connection for the viewer, offering not just a photograph, but an intimate experience with nature.

Lisa has taught various workshops and photography classes in Arizona, Alaska, Canada and beyond. Her participants rely upon her knowledge, humor, sincerity and supportive approach as they progress in their own journeys as photographers.

This is a free, family friendly event and anyone interested in photography, is encouraged to attend.
